Salary: up to £51,620 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £60,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm – Flexible 40 Hour week

Are you looking to join a highly successful bodyshop in Hartlepool? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our client’s workshop. This is an exciting opportunity for a Panel Beater to join a great team at a company that offers training and promotional opportunities.

Panel Beater Role

• Replacing and repairing panels, including straightening and filling

• Performing body alignment

• Welding and bonding

• Filler work, dent removal, and pin pulling

• Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting findings (oral and/or written), with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction

• Working in a manner that minimises lost, non revenue, and/or diversionary time, accurately recording all such time

• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, well organised, and safe—in full compliance with Health and Safety standards

Panel Beater Requirements

• Previous experience in panel repair/replacement in a bodyshop setting, with completion of a Senior ATA Panel Beater apprenticeship (or equivalent)

• Ability to carry out major repairs

• Demonstrate a positive, “right-first time” attitude

• a strong team player

• Ability to work to a very high standard, with precision and attention to detail
