Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels for industrial equipment. This role is responsible for interpreting electrical schematics, installing components, and ensuring panels meet quality and safety standards before release to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
  • Lay out, mount, and wire electrical components including relays, breakers, terminal blocks, PLCs, and VFDs
  • Build and wire control panels according to company standards and customer specifications
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, labeling, and cable management
  • Install and connect power supplies, sensors, motors, and control devices
  • Conduct visual inspections and basic electrical testing to verify proper operation
  • Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues as needed
  • Follow all safety, quality, and documentation procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Familiarity with industrial control components (PLCs, VFDs, relays, contractors)
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certificate or vocational training in electrical or industrial technology
  • Experience with UL508A or industrial control panel standards
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience
  • Prior manufacturing or industrial equipment experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work with hands for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time, onsite position
  • Standard production schedule with overtime as needed

Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 3:30pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 10:00am
