Job Title: Warehouse Order Selector

Location: Hartford, CT — Onsite

Duration: 16 Months

Pay Rate: Up to $18/hour

Schedule:

• Full-time | 40 hours per week
• Sunday & Thursday: 7:00 AM start
• Monday – Wednesday: 8:30 AM start
• Overtime: 5–10 hours per week as needed

We are seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to support operations in a food distribution warehouse environment. This role involves selecting grocery products, building customer orders, and operating warehouse equipment in a cooler environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

• Operate an electric pallet jack to select and transport products
• Pick and build customer orders from warehouse racking
• Palletize products following proper stacking procedures
• Stage completed pallets at designated dock locations for shipment
• Stretch-wrap pallets and prepare orders for loading
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in order selection
• Work until all assigned orders are completed, including overtime when required

• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack
• Ability to work in a cold environment (35–54°F)
• Ability to lift 5–50 lbs (team lifting when required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Basic reading, writing, communication, and arithmetic skills
• Must be 18 years or older

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Steel-toe shoes required
• Personal protective equipment required as needed
