The Connecticut Department of Transportation is hiring Statewide CDL Drivers for all of our Highway Maintenance locations! - To qualify for a desired location, you must live within 20 miles of the garage locations listed below.
- 30‑mile radius is acceptable for Bridge location.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS- You must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with Tanker and Airbrakes endorsement. The Tanker endorsement is needed at the time of hire. You must also have a valid Medical Examiners Card (MEC).

Candidates selected for Bridge positions must meet the following requirements, as required under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard :
