Overview

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. This role requires deep integration architecture expertise to deliver large‑scale, enterprise integrations.

$56/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Architect large‑scale integrations leveraging IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, and robust message flows.
• Design REST/JSON APIs with solid lifecycle management, backward compatibility, and performance tuning.
• Build Java microservices using Spring Boot that support synchronous, asynchronous, and pub‑sub patterns.
• Optimize error‑handling frameworks and latency across distributed systems and compute nodes (ESQL/Java Compute).
• Implement cloud‑native components on Azure/GCP using PaaS services, containers, and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE).
• Govern CI/CD pipelines and integration quality, ensuring secure protocols (HTTPS/TLS), schema discipline (Mongo
  
  DB/RDBMS), and reliable releases.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Possesses a minimum of 10 years of experience, including significant tenure in integration architecture.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency with IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, and enterprise‑grade API design.
• Brings proven capability in developing Spring Boot microservices and implementing cloud‑native solutions on Azure or GCP.
