A contract opportunity exists for a full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist to cover a maternity leave from April 15 to June 11 in Hartford, CT. This role focuses on supporting students in both intermediate (4th-5th grades) and middle school (6th-8th grades) settings. The position requires a professional credentialed with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in grades 4 through 8.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessment, evaluation, and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to the educational team.
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to support student needs.
Qualifications
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology is mandatory.
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred, with adaptability to diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Contract Details
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) role covering a maternity leave from April 15 to June 11.
