We are seeking a natural leader who can inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager in Training, you will engage in on‑the‑job training to learn how to manage profitable retail operations and create a welcoming environment for customers and associates alike.

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster the growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising, coaching and correcting as appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.

• Minimum 3 years of prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high‑energy team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
