Hartford Health Care Medical Group is one of the largest medical practices in New England with multiple locations throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. Neighborhood Health is a mobile clinic that covers various locations across CT. This position requires travel to our home base hubs out of Hartford and New Britain then travel in company fleet to clinic sites.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards and practices as a member of the Neighborhood Health team.

Promote, protect and preserve the health of the public through:

• promoting healthy lifestyle
• prevent disease and health problems
• provide direct care
• educate community about managing chronic conditions and making healthy choices

Assess and evaluate community health needs including future needs; plan appropriate interventions for identified health needs of the community; provide comprehensive nursing services on health promotion/illness prevention and counseling. These activities contribute to meeting the health care, safety and comfort needs of patients and are performed in accordance with all existing regulatory, state and company standards, policies and procedures.

• Current Connecticut RN License required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

3 Years As a Registered Nurse Experience Preferred

Professional nursing experience in an ED hospital, medical office, ICU setting, or Behavioral Health.

Triage experience

Venipuncture experience

Narcan administration experience

Valid driver’s License within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date

Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs.

Experience with medical software

BLS certified obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Bilingual preferred.
