We treat patients with the highest acuity, including chest pain and comprehensive stroke protocols, and the ED averages 109,000 visits annually. The department also hosts Life Star, the state’s first Critical Care helicopter service.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN degree required; ASN/ADN RNs with relevant experience may be considered.
- Licensure:
Current Connecticut RN license required prior to start date. - Experience:
Previous acute‑care RN experience preferred; new graduate RNs passionate about Emergency Medicine are welcomed and encouraged to apply. - Certifications:
BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required prior to date of hire.
