Position Overview
At Saint Francis Hospital the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients and offer hospice and end‑of‑life services.
Responsibilities- Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput
- Support performance management and regulatory compliance
- Promote evidence‑based practices and clinical excellence
- Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Lead through change and innovation
- Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Connecticut
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred
- MSN degree
- Leadership experience or relevant certifications
- 40 hours – Day Shift – Full‑time
