Overview

Registered Nurse Acute (RN) - Post Partum.

Location:

79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064). Shift: 36 hour permanent night shift position, 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday.

• Provide holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families within a unit or primary area of practice, with awareness of the episode of care.
• Apply the nursing process within the organization’s Framework for Professional Practice.
• Function as clinically competent; delegate and supervise work appropriately.
• Report to Unit Manager.

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; previous maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women’s Health or postoperative care desired.
