A world-class, multi-billion-dollar industrial manufacturing organization seeks to hire a Senior Plant Operations Manager at their rapidly growing production facility in Connecticut. Reporting to the VP/GM for the site, this high‑visibility position will provide hands‑on operational leadership while also developing systems and processes to support longer‑term strategic objectives. This is a permanent, direct‑hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership across day‑to‑day manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity outcomes.
  • Lead and develop multi‑disciplinary manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage end‑to‑end production flow, ensuring alignment between schedules, capacity, inventory, and customer commitments.
  • Drive quarter‑over‑quarter operational improvements through lean manufacturing, process optimization, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve throughput, margin, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in operational budgeting, capital planning, and execution of approved improvement and automation projects.
  • Monitor key operational metrics (scrap, efficiency, delivery, inventory, margin) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while actively promoting a strong EHS culture.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (engineering/technical is preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • 4+ years of formalized leadership responsibility.
  • Extensive Lean/CI skillset with proven ability to implement these tools to drive operational performance improvements.
  • Candidates must be US Citizens or US Green Card holders for consideration.
