What You’ll Do

As Operations Manager, you’ll be the go-to person making sure the site runs smoothly, safely, and ready for action every day. You’ll:

  • Coordinate daily logistics—opening and closing, buses, lunches, and volunteer check-in.
  • Ensure operational readiness with supplies, technology, and custodial/maintenance support.
  • Oversee safety procedures, including emergency protocols and check-in/check-out systems.
  • Support simulation programs, handling setup, troubleshooting, and tech support.
  • Keep track of supplies and event logistics to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on organization programs.
  • Step in as backup for the Simulation Lead Manager (tech) and the Director (budgeting and reporting).
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Nonprofit Management, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years in operations, facilities, or logistics (nonprofit/educational experience a plus).
  • Skilled in daily site logistics, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Comfortable with technology troubleshooting and supporting program simulations/events.
  • Experience managing budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, flexible leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
