We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Growth (Sales & Marketing) to spearhead growth for our DSI team in Poestenkill, NY. This role is ideal for a driven, innovative leader who thrives on building strategies that open new markets, strengthen partnerships, and expand global reach.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development and market expansion initiatives across global weighing & control sectors.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities through partnerships, acquisitions, and new customer segments.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to align market insights with product development and commercialization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement data‑driven sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Represent VPG at industry conferences, trade shows, and global customer meetings (up to 50% travel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing leadership, preferably within industrial, sensing, or high‑tech manufacturing industries.
- Proven record of driving strategic growth and delivering measurable results.
- Experience managing global markets and complex sales cycles.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Salary range: $175,000-$200,000 annually.
