A trusts and estates firm in the East Hartford, CT area is seeking an attorney to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 1-3+ years of direct experience in estate planning, probate, and/or trust administration. Candidates must have direct experience in estate planning, probate and/or trust administration to be considered for this opportunity.

What You 'll Handle- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and other relevant documents
- Manage trust and estate administration matters
- Appear in probate court for hearings and related proceedings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients,
- Maintain and manage your own caseload in a busy practice
- Work closely with partners, attorneys, and staff on complex files
- Stay informed on changes in estate, probate, fiduciary, and Elder Law
- Support business development efforts, networking, and firm initiatives
- Participate in client education or presentations when needed
- JD from an accredited law school
- Ability to work fully in-person at the office in the East Hartford, CT area
- Active Connecticut bar license, in good standing
- 1–3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Strong research, drafting, and proofreading skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Polished, client-facing demeanor with solid interpersonal skills
