Construction Attorney – Hybrid (CT / NJ / NY)
SNI Legal is partnering with a growing, multi-office law firm, to identify an experienced Construction Attorney to join its expanding Construction Practice Group. This is a growth-driven opening offering meaningful responsibility, trial exposure, and the opportunity to manage matters independently while working within a collaborative NY/CT/NJ team. The role is hybrid (3/2 flex) and well-suited for attorneys seeking long-term growth in a sophisticated construction practice without rigid billable requirements and offers a strong compensation and benefits package.
- 5+ years of construction law experience
- Admission to practice in Connecticut required (NY/NJ/PA a plus)
- Experience with construction contract drafting, mechanic’s liens, and bond claims
- Background handling construction disputes involving delays, termination, defective design, and scope issues
- No hard billable requirement (historical average ~1,900 hours)
- Strong ability to manage matters independently and collaborate across offices
- Bar required
