IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Principal Consultant – Healthcare
As a Principal Consultant – Healthcare, you will play a strategic role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions for healthcare clients. You will leverage deep domain expertise to drive digital transformation, enhance member and provider experiences, and lead solution development initiatives. You will also serve as a thought leader, representing Infosys in industry forums and client engagements.
Required Qualifications- Location:
must be within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or willing to relocate; travel in the US may be required. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; may consider three years progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
- 11 years experience in Information Technology.
- About 8 years of healthcare or product management experience.
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
- Proven experience in solution development, digital transformation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
- Partner with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and co‑create transformation roadmaps.
- Lead workshops, design‑thinking sessions, and strategic planning engagements.
- Ensure high‑quality delivery of consulting engagements and digital transformation programs.
- Lead the design and development of end‑to‑end healthcare solutions leveraging AI, analytics, cloud, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build scalable, compliant, and member‑centric solutions.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in U.S. healthcare, including payers (Health Plans), providers, and emerging care models.
- Design, configure, and maintain EDI workflows using Edifecs platform (Transaction Manager, Spec Builder, XEngine).
- Analyze and support HIPAA X12 transactions including 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 278.
- Experience with EDI mapping, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Guide clients through value‑based care, population health, member engagement, and care coordination initiatives.
- Product management experience.
- Hands‑on technical experience – SQL, UI wireframe tools.
- Knowledge of AI landscape.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship;

- Ability to elicit information from myriad SMEs (technical & business).
- Provide thought leadership and influence to implement strategic methods.
- Excellent and assertive communication skills.
- Switch between projects and maintain consistency.

- Work in an agile environment – Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
