Digital Solutions Architect

* Technical Expertise &

Education:

* Bachelor’s in technology related field or equivalent with 6 years of demonstrated engineering experience or 2 to 3 years of technology architecture experience.
* Recent hands-on architecture and/or engineering experience with modern technologies, specifically Cloud/AWS.
* Demonstrated experience in application architecture, software design, or a senior technical leadership role where you were responsible for making and documenting architectural decisions.
* Strong understanding of application-level architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems concepts.
* Ability to write clear, structured Architecture Decision Records and technical documentation that engineering teams can act on.
* Ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches and communicate trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Sufficient technical depth to read code, understand implementation details, and prototype solutions when needed
* Experience with successful execution of modernizing technology initiatives.
* Leadership & Influence:
* Intermediate leadership skills with the ability to foster a supportive learning environment where team members can develop and grow along with a proven track record of self-motivation in identifying opportunities and tracking team efforts.
* Strategic & Business Acumen:
* Experience working in an agile operating model.
* Insurance technology experience preferred.
* Understanding of value creation and business capability models.
* Knowledge of the insurance industry.
