Sr Tableau Developer Hybrid

State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families is seeking a Senior Tableau Report Developer/ETL to support existing .NET applications and the new SACWIS system.

Lead Full Stack Developer will participate in all SDLC phases: requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and support. The role involves creating and maintaining SSRS reports, SSIS ETL packages, and supporting SOA integration initiatives.

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports and SQL scripts in Microsoft T‑SQL and SSIS environments.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality and conversion strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and users to validate requirements and perform testing.
• Optimize SSIS packages and SQL execution for performance.
• Implement data ingestion, cleansing, and distribution solutions, including file transfers via FTP/SFTP.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data solutions.
• 5+ years with Tableau, complex SQL, and T‑SQL/SSRS/SSIS.
• Experience deploying SSIS packages with source control, environment variables, and SQL Agent jobs.
• Proficiency in creating, deploying, and maintaining Tableau reports.
• Version‑control expertise (e.g., Team Foundation).
• Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional analysis skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience with Salesforce and Mule Soft.

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM EST. Hybrid schedule: option for on‑site presence one day per week or two days every other week in Hartford, CT.
