Oracle HCM Payroll Functional Consultant

Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Lead Functional Consultant with strong leadership skills. The consultant will collaborate with process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze processes, translate business requirements into solution designs, communicate complex designs to stakeholders, and seek approvals. The role involves working in an onshore/offshore model coordinating with development and support teams across continents to manage delivery and drive automation opportunities.

  Phoenix, AZ;
  Richardson, TX; or Hartford, CT. Relocation and/or travel to client/project location may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• 7+ years of Information Technology experience.
• Completed 2 or 3 Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
• Techno-functional or functional experience with a HCM domain background.
• Responsible for maintaining employee payroll data, administering garnishments, and maintaining system integrity.
• Expertise in HCM payroll cloud processing.
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and provide resolution.
• Experience loading external deductions and payroll data conversions in HCM payroll cloud.
• Expertise in payroll cloud tax updates and testing after each upgrade.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

• Expertise on North American payroll functional business processes and regulatory requirements in the US.
• Responsible for executing all post-payroll processes and ensuring accuracy of files transmitted to vendors.
• Ability to interact and collaborate with payroll business users.
• High understanding of potential functional design issues, suggesting alternatives and supporting existing functionality and integrations while effectively communicating status, issue, and risk to management.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements and strong problem‑solving skills for day‑to‑day Oracle HCM cloud issues.
• Provides hands‑on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members within a global delivery model.
