The Senior Consultant will define and drive the performance analytics vision and strategy for Middle and Large as well as Business Insurance level initiatives.  They will cultivate a culture of data driven decision making and accountability and execute on strategic initiatives resulting in revenue growth and/or increased profitability. As a true partner to Middle and Large business leaders, they will leverage the power of data and analytics to support the pursuit of Middle and Large Business’ objectives.

The Senior Consultant role will drive innovative solutions, understand trends, comprehend business context, proactively monitor initiative trends and develop actionable insights for the business stakeholders. This role with require discipline, organization, self-organization, and drive.
* This role will have a
** Hybrid work schedule,
** with the expectation of working in an office (Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Columbus, OH) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
*** Responsibilities:
**** Business Performance Analytics
*** Hypothesis test the correlation of activities/behaviors KPIs to outcomes and ensure the right key performance indicators are being prioritized and visualized.
* Advance Middle and Large Business’ suite of strategic initiatives tools. Partner with leadership to define strategic initiatives and develop the tools necessary to execute and monitor outcomes.
* Advance Middle and Large Business’ data currency, including the availability and accuracy of data.
* Perform analytical deep dives into leadership identified topics, deriving insights and actionable recommendations to inform business decision making.
* Develop and deliver insights specific to Middle and Large strategic initiatives– analyze and monitor progress toward goals while identifying key opportunities and trends to drive success.
* Advance Generative AI embeddedness in analytics to drive self-service, speed and depth to insight.
* Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measures against Middle and Large strategic initiatives and coordinate with other organizations to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
* Partner to develop CBAs for key strategic initiatives.
* Troubleshoot data gaps and data validation through knowledge of database systems and business context.
** Business Execution Design, Implementation, Support
*** Partner with Middle and Large business leaders, Strategic Partners, Global Specialty counterparts, Data Science, etc to collaborate on broader Middle and Large, Data Science and Analytics, and Business Insurance level initiatives from identification to completion as the data and analytics SME.
* Participate in strategic initiatives by developing a roadmap, identifying milestones, and providing status updates related to Performance Analytic disciplines.
* Serving as a Performance Analytic consultant to Middle and Large Business Insurance to identify, recommend, and execute on strategic initiatives resulting in revenue growth, increased profitability, operational efficiencies, etc.
* Define and refine KPIs and deeps insight into core Middle and Large outcomes and behaviors.
* Support the production of content and analytics for leadership meetings, strategy workshops and town halls.
* Support training needs, including educational messaging on product trends, market dynamics and other topics pertaining to The Hartford and our key competitors.

*** Strategic mindset.  Ability to design and execute on strategic roadmaps and frameworks.
* Strong project management skills.  Able to concurrently move multiple initiatives forward and meet deadlines.
* Understand the Agile Principles preferred.
* Ability to handle multiple work streams, prioritize work accordingly, and coordinate across multiple functional partners.
