Position: DINING & EVENTS COORDINATOR

Overview

The Dining & Events Coordinator is responsible for delivering an exceptional and personalized dining and event experience for members and their guests at The Town & County Club. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role oversees à la carte dining, banquets, and all member events while collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and club leadership to ensure service excellence, thoughtful programming, and memorable experiences aligned with the club’s standards and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members hosting events
  • Book, plan, detail, and execute all member and non-member private banquet functions
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute program and committee-driven events in collaboration with the chairperson
  • Coordinate menus, staffing, timelines, room setup, décor, service flow, and breakdown for all events
  • Oversee event setup and décor to ensure spaces are properly prepared and presented to club standards
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups to ensure member satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Oversee POS operations, billing accuracy, and event invoicing
  • Oversee daily food and beverage service in all dining areas
  • Maintain a visible presence on the dining room floor, engaging with members and guests
  • Ensure consistent service standards, hospitality, and attention to detail
  • Address member feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
Culinary & Beverage Collaboration
  • Support wine, cocktail, and beverage programming aligned with member preferences
  • Assist in planning themed dinners, tastings, and special culinary events
  • Train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house dining and event staff
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing service training
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork
Standards, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of dining rooms, bars, and event spaces
  • Uphold club policies, traditions, and service standards
Member Relations
  • Build strong relationships with members through personalized service and proactive engagement
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to execute and support the club’s strategic vision for growth
  • Anticipate member needs, preferences, and special requests to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Always Represent The Town & County Club with the highest level of professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Member Focused Food & Beverage leadership experience in a private club, hotel, or upscale dining environment
  • Strong background in dining service and event/banquet operations
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of fine dining service standards, food, wine, and beverage programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
