Travel RN opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut for an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) supporting a float pool team. Work 12-hour day shifts while delivering high-quality patient care and telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced clinical setting.

• Location: Hartford, CT
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry – Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 02/16/2026 – End: 05/17/2026)
• Hours: 36 hours/week (may consider 48 hours/week)
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Openings: 1

• Experience: Recent telemetry experience required
• License: Active RN license (verification required for onboarding)
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Preferred: NIHSS

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients across assigned units within the float pool
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; recognize and escalate changes in patient condition promptly
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized plans of care, and document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols, including IV therapy as applicable
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support patient throughput, and promote positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, post-discharge care, and warning signs
• Maintain patient safety standards, infection prevention practices, and professional communication during handoffs
