Job Description

Starting annual salary $82,000 commensurate with experience.

Working schedule:
Full Time 40 hours Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.

JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Manager will manage daily operations of the program, provide administrative and clinical support, supervise clinicians, lead department meetings, onboard new employees, audit operations, understand the program budget, review treatment plans, and collaborate with internal and external colleagues.

EAGLE HOUSE

The Eagle House Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) provides a structured therapeutic environment for children ages 6-12 with a psychiatric diagnosis. The program serves as a step‑down from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or an alternative to locked inpatient care. The primary goal is to help children strengthen their ability to function successfully in the community while supporting families in addressing each child's unique needs.

The program offers a comprehensive and intensive therapeutic milieu designed to support emotional and behavioral growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision of staff and maintain daily clinic staffing to ensure adequate clinical coverage and participate in implementation and integration of Results Based Accountability in day‑to‑day operations of program.
  • Participate in hiring and performance management of staff and ensure staff training needs are met.
  • Provide clinical on‑call backup for program and case coverage as needed.
  • Work with staff to ensure strong treatment plans for clients and assist with crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with Program Director to develop and monitor budget performance of program and assist with timely completion of monthly billing and fiscal reports as applicable.
  • Assume responsibility for special tasks or leadership in special projects as appropriate.
  • Track completion of all required documentation from clinical staff, follow up with staff on documentation completion as necessary, and complete any other documentation and reports required by agency and program policies and funding sources accurately and on time.
  • Monitor program standards to ensure program is in compliance with any grant/funder requirements.
  • Collaborate with other Village programs to enhance the quality and coordination of services.
  • Respond to client and programmatic needs, including implementation of agency policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for programmatic expansion and develop proposals and department procedures.
  • Represent The Village in network and collaborator meetings as needed.
  • Maintain liaison role with funder(s) and submit reports as required.
  • Ensure data‑driven continuous quality improvement in program.
  • Participate in management trainings to develop/enhance supervisory skills, when requested.
  • Experience and Skills EDUCATION
    • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed counseling degree.
    • State of CT license required (i.e., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, PhD/PsyD).
    EXPERIENCE
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience providing clinical services; minimum of 3 years as a clinical supervisor.
    • Excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate comfortably with clients, staff, referral sources, and the public.
    • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible and able to multi‑task.
    • Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications. Possess solid general computer skills, including ability to work in a Windows environment. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records is required.
    • Culturally competent to serve diverse client population; bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
    • Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position.
