Dual Diagnosis RN

Overview

Position Purpose
In the Dual Diagnosis Unit, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient care for those struggling with a variety of multiple behavioral health and mental health disorders. These disorders include (but are not limited to): alcoholism, depression, prescription drug and opioid addiction, anxiety, and PTSD.

12 Hour Night Shift

Position Purpose In the Dual Diagnosis Unit, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient care for those struggling with behavioral health and mental health disorders as described above.

• Create and manage Nursing care plans.
• Evaluate current and future behavior or mental health needs of patients.
• Completes medication administration.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Valid RN license in Connecticut

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Mental Health, Substance use treatment or Behavioral Health acute inpatient setting experience.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Full Time - 36 hrs/week - Night Shift
• Every other Weekend/Holiday
