Introduction

Capitol Region Mental Health Center (CRMHC), under the umbrella of the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), is seeking to hire a Supervising Nurse.

Compensation Bonus

Each Registered Nurse who is permanently assigned to the second or third shift may be eligible to receive a “recruitment and retention” yearly bonus of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00). This bonus shall be prorated for part-time. In order to be eligible for this bonus, the employee must have completed one year of service in the registered nurse classification.

    • Every other weekend and holidays, as scheduled
    • Working days are as follows:
      • Week 1:
        Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
      • Week 2:
        Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
    • Full-time (40 hours per week)
    • Second shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM)

  • Provide leadership and guidance in developing and maintaining nursing standards, which will enhance the delivery of essential services;
  • Provide administrative and clinical oversight, including supervision of professional nurses and paraprofessional and all other staff;
