Overview

As the Personal Care Assistant, you will support an individual with personal hygiene and household functions enabling them to remain in their own home.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair, teeth, nail, skin care, transfer, ambulation, dressing, medication reminder, and oral/rectal temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure measurement within training limitations.
  • Prepare meals or feed client as required by client’s preferred diet.
  • Provide a clean and safe environment, ensuring safe use of equipment such as side rails, oxygen, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, etc.
  • Live‑in or sleep over services (Washington and Oregon do not provide this service).
  • Utilize the Electronic Visit Verification program as applicable.
  • Assist with household tasks essential to client’s personal care.
  • Accompany client to medical appointments, shopping, or other errands as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, reliable vehicle or public transportation access.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet identified patient needs.
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience in home care.
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi‑task, self‑directed, good time management.
  • Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $14.00 to $24.23 per hour based on full‑time employment. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits subject to eligibility requirements). We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
