SummaryThe MRI Technologist performs MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols in order to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Technician prepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross‑sectional images of the body.

- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) with an Associate Degree focused in medical imaging, preferably MRI.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
