DIABETES SPECIALIST DIETITIAN

Full time:
Monday-Friday
Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, CDCES preferred or willing to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000
Key Responsibilities- Teaches diabetes technology equipment including CGM (Dexcom G6/G7, Libre 2/3), insulin pumps, and data platforms (Tidepool, Glooko, Clarity, Libre View).
- Uses teaching tools such as food models, PowerPoint presentations, plate method visuals, carbohydrate‑counting tools, curriculum materials, and demo devices.
- Performs comprehensive assessments including emotional/behavioral health, nutrition, literacy, and social determinants.
- Develops individualized care plans and documents all visits in EPIC.
- Follows ADCES Diabetes Education Accreditation requirements.
- Applies AADE7/self‑care behaviors to promote sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Collaborates with endocrinology, APRNs, RNs, MFM/OB, cardiology, nephrology, cardiology, and other specialties.
- Supports technology‑enabled care and population‑based diabetes management.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, in states where required
- Two (2) years of experience in area of specialty preferred
- Specialty certification such as CDCES preferred; if not already CDCES, must obtain credential within 12 months of hire
