At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders, and epilepsy.

• Employment Type: Full time
• Shift: Rotating Shift
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status.
• Assist with hyperacute and acute treatment, support, and encourage rehabilitation.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

• Specialized 4‑bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center Certification (TSC)
• 2022 & 2023 Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus Target:
  Stroke Honor Roll, Target Stroke Type II Diabetes Honor Roll
