Physical Therapist (PT) - Acute Care - Hartford Hospital (Per Diem)
Join Hartford Health Care to provide acute care physical therapy at Hartford Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center. This per diem position focuses on evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating patients with acute or prolonged physical dysfunction.
Location81 Retreat Ave, Hartford, CT 06701
Responsibilities- Independently evaluate patients, determine treatment strategies, and deliver physical therapy services.
- Apply therapeutic exercise, modalities, and other procedures to maximize functional independence in activities of daily living.
- Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Graduate of an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school (BS, MS, or Doctoral).
- Active CT PT license.
- Acute care experience highly preferred.
