We’re partnered with a growing, well-established wealth management firm in West Hartford that works with high-net-worth clients. As their client base expands, they’re adding a Financial Planning Specialist to support their Senior Financial Planner.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years in financial planning or wealth management who wants to grow in a structured, mentorship-driven environment — with real exposure to advanced planning strategies and client interaction.
If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping clients reach their financial goals, this role offers strong growth potential.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and update financial plans using eMoney (or similar software)
- Gather and organize client financial data
- Assist with cash flow projections, investment reviews, and scenario planning
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records
- Attend select client meetings and support planning discussions
- Partner with advisory, operations, and compliance teams
- Provide responsive, high-quality client service
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
- Experience with eMoney or similar planning software preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills — this role has client exposure
- CFP® preferred or interest in pursuing it
- Clear path toward advancement into a planning or advisory role
- Direct mentorship from senior leadership
- Exposure to sophisticated high-net-worth planning strategies
