A well-established, mission-driven organization is hiring a Controller to lead accounting operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This is a high-impact role with tons of growth potential!

What You'll Do:

+ Own all accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, month-end close)

+ Prepare and present financial statements; support budgeting and forecasting

+ Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance

+ Manage audits and compliance for government-funded programs

+ Manage the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and review of audited financial statements and IRS Form 990.

+ Supervise and mentor a small accounting team

+ Partner with the CFO and present financials to leadership/Board

+ Support an upcoming ERP system conversion

Requirements:

+ BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related.

+ Hands-on Controller experience

+

Experience with government-funded, contract-based, or regulated environments
