Job DescriptionThe Global Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) will lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, closing complex and high dollar deals, and emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients. The role requires deepening and growing a portfolio of Automotive Retail treasury clients in the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic, with regular travel for in‑person client meetings.
Responsibilities- Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across assigned portfolios; occasionally pursue client prospects outside the portfolio.
- Act as a digital ambassador driving mobile, digital, and real‑time payments adoption, managing strategic dialogues on client‑centric issues.
- Accountable for revenue/product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and treasury presentations.
- Maintain strong client focus while understanding operational aspects of the bank; deep product and industry awareness to aid success.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, client planning, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal and presentation development and delivery.
- Focus on client relationship development, from new relationships to deepening existing ones through thoughtful client‑needs identification.
- Ensure responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client calling and planning, pricing strategy, proposal responses, and client‑facing treasury presentations.
- Partner with bankers and product specialists to develop customized treasury solutions based on client‑focused cost/benefit analysis and bank profitability analysis.
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and year‑over‑year growth.
- Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts; work with servicing and implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions.
- 3 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience.
- Fluency with the suite of treasury services relevant to commercial clients, especially auto dealers.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Successful track record in treasury management sales; broad, deep familiarity with global treasury products, services, and trends.
- Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proven negotiation and active listening skills; strong executive presence.
- Adept at critical and strategic thinking and problem resolution.
- Strong business/financial acumen.
- Ability to successfully maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners and elevate as needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team.
- Effectively manages competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Can work independently as well as in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Effectively manages risk while balancing the needs of client, team, and bank.
- B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree.
- Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of treasury software, tools, and banking services commonly used by auto dealers; sector experience preferred.
- Experience in the treasury sales officer role or similar, with primary responsibility for managing growth of a commercial treasury client book.
