Join EY’s Wealth Tax Advisory practice, a rapidly growing team that serves premier families and enterprises across the U.S. and globally. We provide bespoke wealth advisory services—including estate planning, structuring, and transactional advisory—to some of the most influential clients. As we expand, we are seeking a Manager to work on key engagements, mentor junior professionals, and deepen client relationships.
Position OverviewAs a Manager in our Wealth Tax Advisory practice, you will deliver high‑quality advisory services to high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWI) and their family offices. You will collaborate closely with senior managers, partners, and engagement teams to lead complex wealth planning projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and develop and mentor the next generation of tax professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Work on wealth advisory engagements, including sophisticated tax planning, structuring advice, and complex estate, trust, and gift tax returns for high‑net‑worth clients and family offices.
- Research tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies.
- Communicate complex tax issues to non‑tax professionals and clients.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals; review their work and ensure they have the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to excel.
- Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, supported by tax, business, or financial planning experience.
- Eligibility for CPA certification or membership in the Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
- Thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning, federal and state personal and trust taxation, and flow‑through entities (S‑Corps, partnerships, LLCs).
- Experience with automated tax processing systems.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- Proven record in a professional services environment.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary range $106,500–$195,100 (U.S. locations) with higher ranges for major metros.
