Overview
Our client, a leader in industrial solutions, is seeking an Onsite Specialist to join their team. As an Onsite Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting customer facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Onsite Specialist
Location: Hartford, CT
Pay Range: $22.50/hr
Responsibilities- Assist customers with procurement, order placement, and quoting processes.
- Manage Control Point Solutions, including Vendor Managed Inventory, Vending, and Storeroom programs.
- Collaborate with the Category Team to determine sourcing strategies that drive savings and operational improvements.
- Participate in customer plant meetings, strategic initiatives, and Lean/Six Sigma events.
- Resolve on-site product and service issues by providing effective solutions and consulting with associates and suppliers.
- Proficiency with email, internet browsers, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Industrial knowledge is preferred but not required.
