This circumstance mandates a broad, flexible work scope and self‑starting, tenacious individuals who are relentless and hard‑working.

The Process Engineer will have broad technical responsibilities from process to product. The successful individual will enjoy working hands‑on finding solutions, optimizing and controlling processes, and training others to assume responsibilities. The individual will work with operations and the commercial team to develop and control processes and ensure the quality of products produced. As part of a small, entrepreneurial company, this person will be engaged in hands‑on production and foundry work.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for directly engaging with process and product in a manufacturing environment. Future leadership advancement opportunities exist for an experienced candidate who is able to demonstrate strong success in this role.

  • Manage projects required to implement new processes, including specification, sourcing, commissioning of equipment, and vendor management.
  • Initiate and lead cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and material to assist in costing products.
  • Develop, scale‑up, and manufacture new alloys or products as required.
  • Create part numbers, evaluate customer drawings, and modify BOMs.
  • Become familiar with all of RSC’s in‑house manufacturing processes to troubleshoot processes and equipment as needed.
  • Learn and understand analytical techniques for determining composition and purity of materials.
  • Use statistical methods to measure and track product and processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and BOMs is highly beneficial.
