We are partnering with a major organization in the insurance and financial services industry known for its large-scale technology ecosystem and commitment to modernizing enterprise platforms. Our client is seeking a Technical Engineer to support the analysis, implementation, and configuration of key technology environments. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who thrive in hybrid infrastructure environments, enjoy hands‑on technical problem-solving, and want to broaden their exposure to cloud, observability, and modern platform technologies.

As a Platform Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery, configuration, and support of moderately complex platform technologies. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and evolution of their technology stack.

• Perform assessment, development, deployment, and configuration of technology platforms and environments.
• Participate in analysis and troubleshooting of platform defects and incidents of intermediate complexity, escalating as needed.
• Configure, integrate, and sustain the service and platform layers that host applications.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to align infrastructure performance with application requirements.
• Explore emerging technologies through guided, hands‑on learning initiatives and projects.

• Work within established engineering guidelines to independently solve well‑scoped platform engineering challenges.
• Define technical requirements for assigned platform engineering tasks, including enterprise SaaS and PaaS solutions used in application development and deployment.

• Experience or foundational knowledge across infrastructure technologies (e.g., cloud services, networks, databases, servers, storage).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform accurate technical assessment and configuration tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional technical teams.

• Experience working with observability or monitoring platforms such as Elastic, Datadog, or Cloud Watch.
• Exposure to enterprise‑scale SaaS or PaaS environments.
• Familiarity with platform engineering concepts, including automation, configuration, and environment setup.
