Telecommunications Engineer

Payrate: $63.00 - $67.50/hr.

• Design and install the equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
• Work with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment
• Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment
• Evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems
• Manage large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation
• Produce technical documentation to determine build feasibility for candidate properties for broadband services
• Provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams

• General knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures
• General work area hazard identification & prevention
• Knowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)

• Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications
• Frontline experience with working with customer/clients

• Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent field experience
• 5-7 Years of experience

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $63.00 - $67.50/hr final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
