** STV is seeking a Senior Inspector for our Transportation North department in Hartford, CT
**** Responsibilities:
*** Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.
* Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.
* Assist in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities.
* Support field inspection teams by providing technical assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.

* Required Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience or NICET Level 3 with 6 years of experience in construction engineering and inspection.  Experience on transportation infrastructure projects preferred.
* Strong understanding of CTDOT CEI processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.
* Knowledge of construction materials and methods
* Ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Working knowledge of COMPASS and AASHTOWare Project
* NETTCP – Concrete Inspector, ACI – Concrete Certification, NETTCP – HMA Paving Inspector, NACE, AMP, or BCI – Coating Inspector, and ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certifications.
* Professional Engineer License.

Compensation Range:$63,147.00 - $84,196.00
