Overview

Job Description
The Village was one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children. Today, we continue to achieve our mission to build a community of strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children by providing a full range of behavioral health, early childhood and youth development, substance use treatment and support services for children, adults and families in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut region.

In order to accomplish this, we hire the most qualified, experienced staff and support creativity and innovation so that we can come up with solutions that work. We are about lasting, sustainable change for individuals and families today and communities tomorrow.

With a strong commitment to workforce development, The Village sponsors internships for students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the social work, counseling, nursing, and administrative fields. Our interns come from a variety of colleges and universities in and around New England.
