A contract position is available for a School Psychologist in Hartford, CT, to cover a leave starting in the fall. This role is ideal for experienced school psychologists who are familiar with school settings and dedicated to supporting student mental health and educational success.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Provide consultation to educators, parents, and school staff.
- Develop intervention strategies to support students academic and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist within public or private school settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations.
