The Department of Neurology seeks to hire a General Neurologist or subspecialty-trained neurologist with an interest in General Neurology at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat all neurological conditions in the Division of General Neurology.
- Participate with the Yale Headache Center and Yale Neurology Resident Clinics, including involvement with the Neurology Urgent Access Clinic (NUAC) to expedite evaluation for ER patients and referrals requiring urgent assessment.
- Collaborate to ensure patients are seen by appropriate subspecialists within the department; make internal referrals to subspecialists when needed to optimize care.
- Engage in clinical teaching and contribute to education of the next generation of subspecialty experts.
- Participate in clinical trials and opportunities to teach; pursue programmatic development across varied academic interests within the division and department.
- Practice location in New Haven County, with opportunities to practice in other locations as appropriate.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Fellowship in General Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut.
