Job Shift: Day Shift Join a National Leader in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, Treatment, and Research An outstanding opportunity exists for a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with experience in Inherited Cardiovascular Disease to lead a specialized program as Medical Director. The Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program (ICDP) is a multidisciplinary initiative focused on the care and management of patients with inherited cardiomyopathies, arrhythmia syndromes, neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy, and aortopathies/connective tissue disorders.
Position Highlights:
Lead a team of dedicated cardiovascular specialists in delivering high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide system-wide oversight of the ICDP and ensure clinical integration and standardization across affiliated sites. Collaborate with a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor to advance the program s clinical and research initiatives. Participate in and support extensive clinical research efforts. Research experience is required.
Requires proficiency in nuclear, exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and carotid ultrasound. Academic opportunities available.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine. Specialized training and clinical experience in Inherited Cardiovascular Disease. Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) degree required. 1 2 years of post-training experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a passion for academic and clinical program development.
