Locums Opportunity - Hyrbrid Interventional Radiology

Location: Hartford, ConnecticutPractice Setting: Hospital-based with some remote coverage

Availability & Coverage
  • Start Date: March 21, 2026 (12:00 AM)

  • Assignment Length: 3-6 months, with option to extend

  • Coverage Need: Group transitioning to employed model

  • Positions Needed: Multiple Interventional Radiologists

Schedule & Call
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Call Coverage: 24-hour call

    • Nights and weekends onsite

  • Workflow: Hybrid onsite/remote model

Practice Details
  • Trauma Level: Level I

  • Department Volume: Very busy; case volume dependent on subspecialty

  • Number of Providers: 3

  • Patient Population: Neonates, adolescents, adults, geriatrics (rare to no pediatrics)

  • Support Staff: Full complement

  • EMR / Systems: EPIC, Power Scribe, PACS

Required Licenses & Certifications
  • Connecticut Medical License (active or eligible) - Required

  • DEA Registration & State Controlled Substance Certificate(or eligibility to obtain) - Required

  • BLS Certification - Required

  • ACLS - Optional (depending on subspecialty)

Board Certification & Training
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology(A  or AO ) - Required

  • Interventional Radiology Fellowship Training - Highly Preferred

Clinical Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency with PACS, Power Scribe, and current radiology IT platforms

  • Experience with US- and stereotactic-guided biopsies, aspirations, and localizations

  • Experience in high-volume clinical environments

  • Familiarity with hybrid onsite/remote workflows

  • Maintains credentialing per medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements
