The Foundation Assistant’s main function is to support fundraising, institutional advancement and events support.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Director of Institutional Advancement the Foundation Assistant provides support to the Capital Foundation and the Institutional Advancement Office at CT State Capital through effective performance in these essential duties:
- Development Support
- Event Planning & Support
- Financial Support
- Board Meeting Support
Associate’s degree in a related field.
- Foundation or Fundraising experience
- Experience with bookkeeping
- Experience providing operational or administrative support
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Event Planning experience
- Quick Books Online experience
- $34.06 hourly
