Imaging Prep Clerk, resident in our Hartford office. Reporting to the Information Governance Manager, the Imaging Prep Clerk will be responsible for organizing and preparing hard copy files, so that image scanning can be completed in a timely and accurate manner. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our document management system.
Responsibilities- Sort and categorize documents for imaging.
- Ensure documents are in the correct order and orientation for scanning.
- Identify and report any damaged or illegible documents.
- Maintain accurate records of documents processed.
- Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure timely and accurate scanning of documents.
- Assist with other clerical tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with document management systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience in a clerical or document management role.
- Knowledge of imaging and scanning equipment.
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping.
The work is primarily of an intellectual nature and requires a variety of physical capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and rarely has to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard at efficient speed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly to stand, walk, talk and hear.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
