Senior Manager Technical Accounting and Policy

, you'll own our technical accounting strategy and play a key role in shaping how we scale responsibly and compliantly.

You'll partner cross-functionally to guide complex transactions, build and evolve accounting policies, and ensure our financial reporting aligns with current and emerging standards. This role reports to the Associate Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.

• Lead technical accounting under US GAAP and statutory reporting, partnering closely with Tax and cross-functional teams.
• Provide expert guidance on new and complex transactions and evolving business models.
• Develop and maintain company accounting policies and apply new accounting standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors and advisors on technical matters.
• Support SEC and statutory disclosures related to accounting policies and new pronouncements.
• Drive best practices, process improvements, and special projects across the organization.

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies
• 2+ years of financial reporting experience

• Experience in health insurance or insurtech
• 4+ years in insurance and financial reporting
• Background in public accounting
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
