We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will oversee crucial financial operations and provide detailed reporting to support informed decision-making. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including compiling close workbooks.

- Reconcile various accounts, including bank statements, general ledger, intercompany balances, payroll, and prepaid expenses.

- Oversee intercompany transactions and billing activities to maintain consistency and accuracy.

- Generate detailed balance sheet and income statement analyses to support management reporting.

- Analyze financial data and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive reports.

- Address customer inquiries related to financial transactions and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.

- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.

- Participate in departmental initiatives, special projects, and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

- At least three years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience being advantageous.

- Proficiency in using fully integrated accounting systems.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks.

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
