The Junior Accountant position at Connecticut Lighting Centers in Hartford, CT, involves supporting daily and monthly accounting operations, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Assisting with month-end close, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
- Performing bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Excel and other accounting tools; ERP experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
